Job summary

Polarity PEO Services LLC seeks a Lead Field Maintenance, Installation & Repair Technician to head service delivery across Northern New Jersey. You will frequently travel, diagnose HVAC systems, repair industrial kitchen equipment, and install AV components including televisions and heavy exercise equipment.

You’ll mentor junior technicians and manage on-call emergency rotations. The role requires 3–5 years of field maintenance experience, NJ HVAC/R certification, EPA Section 608, and a valid NJ

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on field maintenance or HVAC/R repair experience.
• Active HVAC/R trade certification valid in New Jersey.
• EPA Universal Certification (Section 608) for refrigerants.
• Electrical license or journeyman license is highly ideal.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, schematics, and diagnostics.
• Own a basic set of personal hand tools and diagnostic meters.
• Valid NJ driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead field service deliveries across Northern New Jersey.
• Inspect, diagnose, service and repair HVAC units for residential and light commercial sites.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial kitchen equipment and commercial appliances.
• Install, mount, align, and calibrate flat-screen TVs and audiovisual components; assemble heavy exercise equipment.
• Manage field operations with a mobile dispatch platform and coordinate with clients.
