Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Field Technician in Manchester, New Hampshire, to support design reviews and the execution of complex engineering projects. The role emphasizes fieldwork, data collection, and adherence to safety standards in outdoor environments.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with facilities maintenance or public works. A valid driver’s license and Proficiency with Microsoft Office are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree and/or trade school preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience
• Environmental field experience strongly preferred
• Experience in facilities maintenance, public works, or a skilled trade such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical, construction, or similar fields preferred
• OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER training and First Aid/CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and review of complex engineering projects
• Develop and implement engineering standards and procedures
• Lead and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and engineers
• Oversee the construction and installation of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to standards and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate records of project details, including as‑built drawings and inspection reports
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress
