Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Construction Superintendent to provide onsite leadership for a portfolio of environmental, infrastructure, and industrial projects across the United States.

The position leads field operations, coordinates subcontractors and project teams, and ensures safety, quality, and on-time delivery from mobilization through project closeout. Travel to project sites nationwide is required, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of field construction management experience.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in environmental remediation, fire protection, AFFF transition, or heavy civil/site development.
• Strong safety, quality, scheduling, and field execution knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction/project management software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily field operations and subcontractors.
• Coordinate construction activities to meet schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
• Monitor progress and address field challenges.
• Coordinate with clients, PMs, engineers, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and field records.
• Support startup through closeout phases.
• Additional duties as required.
