Job summary

Westwood Curtis is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations in Jackson, Wyoming. This full-time, in-person role oversees excavation and underground utility projects, coordinates crews, and ensures safety and schedules.

The ideal candidate has extensive field leadership experience, can read blueprints, and manage road construction and site development while maintaining quality workmanship. Westwood Curtis has served the region since 1980 with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in excavation and underground utility construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Experience with grading, road construction, and site development.
• Proven experience supervising field crews.
• Strong attention to detail and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage field crews of 3 to 5 employees.
• Coordinate daily job site operations and work schedules.
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Oversee excavation, grading, underground utility installation, and road construction activities.
• Maintain strong safety standards and enforce company safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor job progress and ensure quality workmanship.
