Job summary

Herc-U-Lift, Inc. seeks an experienced Lead Service Technician to provide hands-on technical leadership in our service department. You will diagnose and repair material handling equipment, mentor technicians, and coordinate daily workflow to ensure quality and safety.

This working leadership role focuses on practical technical direction, servicing forklifts, MEWPs, rail car movers, and related equipment while maintaining documentation and customer communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade training preferred.
• 5+ years in forklift/material handling/heavy equipment field.
• Lead or senior technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and related equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data.
• Mentor technicians, coordinate workflow, and assist with training.
• Ensure quality, safety, and accurate documentation.
