Job summary

Linde Inc. is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician in North Carolina to lead maintenance and operations across regional plant sites. You will supervise plant technicians and coordinate outages, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with plant specifications.

The role requires experience with air separation plant technology, instrumentation, and PLC/HMI systems, along with strong troubleshooting and on-site leadership capabilities. Occasional travel and on-call presence are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Experience with air separation plant technology, compressors, pumps, motors, valves, transmitters, analyzers, or process and manufacturing operations.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Background in instrumentation, incl. measuring, controlling, and analyzing variables with specialized devices.
• Proficiency with Human Machine Interface and PLC process control systems.
• Ability to manage time across multiple plant sites and allocate resources.

What Makes You Great

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a technical field is preferred
• Possess experience with air separation plant technology, compressors, pumps, motors, valves, transmitters, analyzers, or process and manufacturing operations
• Demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• You have a background in instrumentation, including measuring, controlling, and analyzing variables with specialized mechanical or electronic devices
• Show proficiency with Human Machine Interface and programmable logic controller process control systems
• Manage time independently and allocate resources effectively across multiple plant sites
• Be available for on-call duty during weekdays and weekends, with most on-call work performed remotely and some on-site responses required
• And you are physically capable of pushing, pulling, moving, or lifting at least 75 pounds
