Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative to provide operations, maintenance and repair on water treatment systems at customer sites across the Great Lakes region. The role requires strong mechanical, electrical and chemical skills, with travel 80-90% and responsibility for site testing and troubleshooting.

The candidate will work with customers to ensure performance, safety, and compliance while supporting project teams remotely and on-site across Michigan,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field preferred.
• 5+ years in field service, plant production or technical support.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance.
• Maintain a strong focus on Environment Health & Safety.
• Perform maintenance and calibration activities.
• Conduct analytical testing (turbidity, pH, chlorine, etc.).
• Keep spare parts inventory and chemicals well-stocked.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls on equipment.
• Create technical summaries and site paperwork for customers.
• Consult with customer management and operations teams.
• Ensure contract volume and quality compliance.
