Job summary

A global leader in food processing technology is seeking a Field Service Technician to manage customer site installations and commissioning of equipment. This role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a significant travel commitment of 70% or more. The position includes a variety of technical responsibilities, such as troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems and providing customer training. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Field Service Technician capacity.
• Willing to travel up to 90%, domestically and internationally.
• Experience installing multimillion dollar capital equipment products.

Responsibilities

• Install & commission new systems within project schedule and budget.
• Lead on-site project staff and ensure personal and site staff safety.
• Provide training to customers and staff through classroom and practical settings.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints

Proficient in electro-mechanical systems

Excellent verbal and writing communication skills

Proactive mindset and self-starter

Experience with PLC's, HMI, and SCADA systems

Education

AS, AAS, or equivalent education/work experience

Tools

Precision measurement instruments

Torque wrenches
