A leading company is seeking a Lead Field Service Engineer to provide technical support for hardware emulation platforms at customer sites in North America. The role requires installation, troubleshooting, and strong communication skills, along with a technical background and willingness to travel. Full training will be provided, but previous experience in Linux systems and networking is advantageous.
The Field Service Engineer will install, troubleshoot, and maintain Cadence hardware emulation platforms. This person will serve as the hardware technical representative providing pro-active onsite support at end user customer locations both domestic and international. This person's primary responsibility will be supporting the customers in North America. Identifies, analyzes and repairs hardware, firmware, network and other issues. Schedules part replacements and maintenance with customers as needed. Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
