Job summary

KOENECKE EQUIPMENT INC is seeking a Commercial Construction and Farm Equipment Lead to steer field operations and head the service department. The role demands strong leadership, hands-on diagnostics, and dependable on-site problem solving for farm and heavy construction equipment.

You will manage service calls regionally, mentor mechanics, enforce safety, and coordinate parts to minimize downtime while upholding integrity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a farm or heavy construction equipment mechanic.
• Ability to lead service operations with integrity and accountability.
• Strong troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel powertrain systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of time to support regional clients on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance for a diverse fleet of farm and construction equipment.
• Direct daily service department operations with high standards of integrity.
• Manage on-site customer service calls within the region for swift resolutions.
• Mentor junior mechanics to raise team technical proficiency and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with operations leaders to streamline parts procurement and minimize downtime.
