Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking an IT Field Services Technician to oversee repair and installation of equipment and systems managed by the IT Field Services Team. You will assist in supervising technicians, plan work, distribute tasks, and ensure quality assurance on projects.

The role emphasizes safe work practices, cross-functional collaboration, and updating paperwork and installation documentation. A technical degree and hands-on experience enable you to lead complex field projects and deliver

Qualifications

Associate degree or BA/BS in Electronics or Computer Technology Information Systems with 3 years' related work experience.
Alternatively, eight years of related progress and responsibility experience with project leadership knowledge.
Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

Solve high complex issues often by applying new approaches in an effective and efficient manner.
Complete a variety of complex tasks on a regular basis.
Solve routine issues and perform routine tasks using well documented methods and techniques.
Work beyond the routine utilizing specialized knowledge of systems and resources; exercise judgement within scope of responsibility to solve complex issues.
Perform tasks with a limited number of variables.
Repair and install company hardware and software.
Troubleshoot advanced hardware.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Maintain assigned company property and documentation within area of responsibility.
Provide adequate solutions as they impact business needs.
