Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee field contract management on large, complex infrastructure programs in Newark/Parsippany, NJ. You will coordinate diverse teams, monitor progress, and ensures adherence to designs, schedules, and budgets.

The role emphasizes leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, risk and change management, and collaboration with clients and sub-consultants to deliver on major projects valued at tens of millions to hundreds of millions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience.
• All jurisdictional certificates (PE preferred).
• NJ-specific experience is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, fee quotation, and assist in proposals and contracts.
• Coordinate project activities, establish priorities, and manage staff.
• Monitor contractor progress and ensure schedule conformance.
• Resolve technical field issues and coordinate with Architects/Engineers.
• Lead project delivery using SDA and oversee project controls.
• Develop submittal strategies and manage change orders.
