Job summary

JT4, LLC, a leading provider of engineering and technical support to U.S. military test ranges, seeks a Field Engineer III to lead complex field assignments and oversee installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of advanced electronic and mechanical systems.

You will coordinate across engineering, logistics, finance, and program management to define system specifications, verify documentation standards, and prepare technical papers, proposals, and studies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Planning and organizational abilities; ability to work across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex field engineering assignments for installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, finance, and program management to define specifications.
• Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
• Prepare, deliver, and submit technical papers and conduct engineering studies.
• Support development of technical proposals and assess scope of work.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
• Interface with customers from quotation through design reviews and testing.
• Conduct site visits and investigations to analyze and propose solutions to problems.
