Job summary

Technical Operations in New York, NY is seeking an experienced AV Integration Installer to lead onsite installations of audio/video systems and low voltage wiring. This hands-on role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to guide a small team through complex builds.

You will work with Crestron, Extron and Biamp platforms, read schematics, ensure quality control, and coordinate with electrical and support teams to deliver seamless integrations for educational and corporate

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AV integration and maintenance experience.
• Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Experience with low voltage wiring and field service.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain audio and video hardware systems, including servers, routers, and switches.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
• Provide field service support as needed throughout the installation process.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure installations meet industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation.
• Collaborate with electrical and tech support teams for seamless integration.
• Provide team leadership and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Use hand tools and low voltage equipment to complete installations.
• Complete AV maintenance requests individually and as a team.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV Integration Installer to join our team. As an Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation of AV equipment hardware and low voltage electrical systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to lead a team effectively. Knowledgeable with Crestron, Extron, Biamp products. Experience with educational settings, corporate settings and more.

Duties

• Install and maintain audio and video hardware systems, including servers, routers, and switches and more.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
• Provide support throughout the installation process
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure installations meet industry standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation
• Collaborate with other departments, such as electrical and tech support teams, to ensure seamless integration of systems
• Provide field service support as needed
• Utilize hand tools and low voltage equipment to complete installations
• Complete AV maintenance requests individually and as a team.
