Job summary

Siemens Industry Software Inc. in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Field Application Engineer to lead technical sales and support for DVT verification technologies for Silicon Valley customers.

You will integrate DVT products, assess customer environments, and translate needs into engineering direction with product teams. Responsibilities include delivering training, developing test benches, and promoting DVT adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Nanotechnology or related field.
• 36 months of experience in Field Application Engineer or related occupation.
• HDL design and verification methodologies experience.
• Proficiency with Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog/UVM and related tools.
• Automation scripting using Python/Perl; Makefiles and build systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in sales and support of DVT verification technologies.
• Integrate DVT products and services at block/chip/system level.
• Assess customer environments and requirements; translate to engineering actions.
• Deliver customer training and promote adoption of verification flows.
• Develop test benches and run simulations; optimize performance and coverage.
• Travel up to 25% domestically; may telecommute from a commutable distance; hybrid role.
