Job summary

Friona Industries LP seeks a Mill Manager to oversee feed mill operations at the Feedyard facility. You will lead a 7–11 person team, ensure safe, high-quality ration production, and maintain records per nutritionist guidelines.

The role requires strong communication, scheduling skills, and a proactive safety mindset in a fast-paced environment. Experience in animal production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 7-11 individuals, monitoring all mill tasks.
• Manage controls and scales to produce a consistent, top-quality ration per the Nutritionist guidelines.
• Maintain necessary records to ensure proper physical inventory in the ration.
• Schedule ration flow with feeders to provide maximum efficiency and minimum carryover of finished ration.
• Know the location of all mill machinery.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Continual observation and adherence to safety policies and procedures
• Maintains inventory at desired levels.
• Fulfills all reporting and record-keeping requirements.
• Adhere to HR policies and best practices.
