Job summary

KidsStreet Urgent Care in Augusta, GA is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join a fast-paced urgent care team. You will care for patients of all ages, lead a small team, and provide comprehensive services from pediatrics to geriatric care, with weekend rotation and extended weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher education required (New graduate friendly!).
• DOT certification either already or willing to obtain (cost covered).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common URIs (flu, strep, COVID) and related illnesses.
• Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Suturing and splinting as needed.
• General orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review X-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• Provide dermatology and eye care as needed.
• EKG interpretations and emergency management.
• GYN care, pediatric care, and occupational medicine.
• Deliver care via telemedicine.
