Job summary

ABM Industries in Savannah, GA is seeking a Facility Operations Lead to coordinate and manage maintenance activities at Gulfstream site. You will oversee repair and preventive maintenance of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, allocate resources, and ensure timely, cost-efficient work orders to meet business objectives.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, 5+ years in commercial/industrial maintenance, and proven leadership skills.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years experience in repair and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC systems in a commercial or industrial setting.
Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Skill in using hand and power tools.
Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Plan, prioritize, assign, review and participate in the work of personnel in Facility Operations.
Provide direction and guidance to personnel in the correct procedures to repair equipment and materials used to complete required maintenance.
Schedule and plan work orders and preventive maintenance to complete job assignments within target deadlines.
Identify resource needs and allocate accordingly.
Train personnel in preventative maintenance, technical procedures and safety inspection of all repairs.
Coordinate and communicate the repair and maintenance activities with other site operations to reduce or prevent downtime.
Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems and equipment
Perform other duties as assigned
