Publicis Groupe's Publicis Re:Sources in New York seeks a Maintenance Technician to lead facilities maintenance activities, supervise staff, and coordinate projects with Building Management to ensure a safe, well‑maintained workplace. You will coordinate moves, manage work orders in ServiceNow, and supervise vendors to meet scope and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, workplace services, or a related field.
• Previous experience supervising maintenance staff, contractors, or vendors.
• Hands-on experience with general building maintenance and minor repairs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans, and equipment layouts.
• Experience with ServiceNow or a similar work order/CMMS system.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle furniture, equipment, tools, and materials as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs: Supervise daily maintenance activities and perform minor repairs, including basic carpentry, furniture repairs, fixture replacement, and general building maintenance.
• Workstation & Office Reconfigurations: Assist with desk and workstation reconfigurations, furniture installation and relocation, and related building modifications, including coordination of electrical, mechanical, and cabling requirements.
• Moves & Relocations: Manage small internal moves with an assigned team and supervise outside vendors for larger moves, relocations, installations, and workplace projects.
• Work Orders: Manage, prioritize, assign, and monitor ServiceNow work orders. Ensure requests are properly documented, completed, and closed within established service expectations.
• Team & Vendor Supervision: Provide daily direction to maintenance staff and supervise contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to scope and quality expectations.
• Preventive Maintenance: Assist with routine inspections and preventive maintenance programs and identify potential building issues before they become larger problems.
• Project Support: Support small construction, renovation, furniture, and facilities improvement projects, including scheduling, vendor coordination, site access, and on‑site supervision.
• Plans & Building Systems: Read and interpret floor plans, equipment layouts, and related documentation. Apply working knowledge of mechanical systems and general building infrastructure.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure maintenance and project activities are performed in accordance with company, building, and applicable safety requirements.
• Customer Service: Provide professional and responsive support to employees and internal customers and communicate effectively regarding maintenance requests and workplace projects.
• Documentation & Technology: Maintain accurate records of work performed and demonstrate proficiency with ServiceNow and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
