Job summary

Publicis Re:Sources in New York is seeking a Maintenance Technician to lead daily maintenance, supervise staff, coordinate contractors, and ensure a safe, well‑maintained workplace.

You will manage work orders in ServiceNow, assist with moves and office configurations, and support small projects while reading floor plans and applying knowledge of building systems.

This position requires 5+ years experience in facilities maintenance and strong communication, with a hands‑on, safety‑minded approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff, contractors, or vendors.
• Hands‑on experience with building maintenance and minor repairs.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
• Ability to read floor plans and equipment layouts.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar CMMS.
• Strong organizational, communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to lift/move furniture and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities and perform minor repairs.
• Coordinate desk/workstation reconfigurations and office moves.
• Manage moves with internal team and supervise outside vendors.
• Prioritize, assign, and track ServiceNow work orders to closure.
• Ensure safety and compliance in all maintenance activities.
• Support small construction, renovation, or facilities projects.
• Read floor plans and applying knowledge of building systems.
