Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance, custodial services and interior/exterior building systems at our Fairfield, Ohio facilities. You will lead a team, manage vendors, and ensure safety and high standards across properties.

You will coordinate preventive maintenance, inventories, and small capital projects while supporting budgeting and contract management.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience in facilities maintenance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and facility improvement projects.
• Professional facilities certifications such as FMP, SFP, CFM, PMP or equivalent credentials (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, develop and evaluate maintenance and custodial associates while ensuring service quality and accountability.
• Oversee general maintenance operations including event setups, restroom day-portering, snow removal, seasonal cleanings, pest control, waste management and maintenance inventory management.
• Manage interior building systems maintenance including drywall, flooring, ceilings, paint, doors, casework, wall coverings and related finishes.
• Manage exterior building systems maintenance including roofing, gutters, caulking, glazing, skylights and façade.
• Lead and direct maintenance associates for furniture moves, reconfigurations, and installations.
• Coordinate and monitor work by contractors and vendors to meet safety, scope, and quality standards.
• Support budget planning, invoice review, cost control initiatives, capital improvements, and vendor contracts.
• Manage small workplace projects including interior renovations and architectural system improvements.
• Respond to building emergencies and support facility operations outside normal hours.
