Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Fairfield, Ohio is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance, custodial services, and facilities across our headquarters. You will lead a team, manage vendor relationships, and uphold facility standards to support safe, functional workspaces.

Responsibilities include managing interior and exterior systems, coordinating furniture moves, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, construction management, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• Experience supervising maintenance, custodial or facility operations teams.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts and facility improvement projects.
• Professional facilities certifications such as FMP, SFP, CFM, PMP or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, develop and evaluate maintenance and custodial associates while ensuring service quality and accountability.
• Oversee general maintenance operations including event setups, restroom day-portering, snow removal, seasonal cleanings, pest control, waste management and maintenance inventory management.
• Manage the maintenance, repair, replacement, cleanliness and presentation of interior building systems.
• Manage exterior building systems including roofing, gutters, caulking, glazing, skylights and entry/exit doors.
• Lead and direct maintenance associates for furniture moves and installations.
• Manage preventative maintenance, inspections, work orders and asset documentation in CMMS.
• Coordinate and monitor work by contractors and vendors to ensure safety, scope and quality.
• Support budget planning, invoice review, cost control initiatives and capital planning.
• Manage small workplace projects including renovations and architectural improvements.
• Respond to building emergencies and support operations after hours.
