Turning Stone Enterprises is seeking a Lead Facilities Engineer responsible for overseeing repairs and managing a team of engineers. You will ensure maintenance efficiency while mentoring staff in a dynamic work environment. Starting Pay Range: $30.00 - $37.50 hourly with $1,500 sign-on bonus.

The Lead Facilities Engineer oversees facility repairs, emergency responses, and team coordination while mentoring engineering staff. They manage task assignments, ensure maintenance efficiency, and act as a liaison between departments. This role requires hands-on expertise, strong communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
What does a Lead Facilities Engineer do?
·Effectively provide leadership and mentoring for Level I, Level II, and Level III Engineers on their shift engaged in Rapid Response repairs of all facility related mechanical and electrical equipment, and Hotel rooms.
·Coordinates the assignments of all the Engineers on their shift.
·Assists the Senior Supervisor in instructing and training employees on Facilities Department procedures and Rapid Response maintenance and repairs.
·Assists the Senior Supervisor with annual employee reviews, coaching, and corrective counseling as needed for all staff on their assigned shift.
·Answers the Rapid Response Phone and directs calls to the appropriate Engineer.Accurately records the information into the Rapid Response log and follows up to ensure quality guest service.

To be successful as a Lead Facilities Engineer, you'll need:
●A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; related work experience may be substituted for education.
●Minimum of 10 years of experience in all aspects of physical plant operations with 5 years of experience supervising Facilities personnel.
●Strong background with hands-on knowledge of plumbing, air handling, refrigeration, minor electronics, electricity, carpentry, and boilers mechanical equipment in general, welding, brazing and soldering required.
●Must possess valid NYS driver’s license.
●Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 41 - 50pounds.
