Job summary

Trails Ministries Inc. seeks a DOVE Lead Facilitator to oversee expanded learning activities on-site, mentor staff, and coordinate program delivery. You will support trauma-informed care, advise on site operations, and ensure high-quality outcomes for participants.

The role requires flexibility, ability to apply behavioral principles, and strong curriculum support skills, with a focus on staff development and program success. This is a hands-on leadership position within a faith-based nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in psychology, mental health, criminal justice or related field preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, three years of supervisory experience in human services may substitute.
• Must adapt flexibly to changing program needs and schedules.
• Ability to apply behavioral principles in program delivery and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates implementation of expanded learning activities at the site.
• Supports expanded learning programs to ensure quality and success.
• Serves as a mentor and coach for DOVE Programs and staff.
• Advises staff and offers recommendations on site coordination.
• Manages facilitator duties and assists with facilitator tasks.
• Provides behavioral support to facilitators during programming.
• Performs curriculum support and troubleshooting, updates ISP records.
• Monitors IEP needs and ensures goals are met; conducts trainings.

Job Purpose:

Facilitates the overall implementation of expanded learning activities at the site. Supports expanded learning programs in order to ensure high quality successful programs. Serves as a mentor and coach for DOVE Programs. Advises staff and offers recommendations concerning site coordination.

*Duties and responsibilities

• Manages facilitator job duties and assist in completing facilitator tasks
• Provide behavioral support to facilitators during programming
• Provide curriculum support and troubleshooting
• Update and maintain participant's ISP's
• Monitor and ensure IEP needs are being met and goals are being accomplished
• Regularly initiate and facilitate trainings in both academics and trauma informed care.
• Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher in Psychology, Mental Health, Criminal Justice or other related fields preferred or
• In lieu of Degree, three (3) years of supervisory experience in Human Service field
• Ability to be flexible
• Ability to apply behavioral principles
• Must have Stress Management Skills
• Competency in Microsoft Office products.
• Valid Driver's License and automobile insurance
• Mandated Clearances (PA Criminal, Child Abuse, & FBI Fingerprinting)

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
