GEO Reentry Services LLC is seeking a Program Facilitator in Tennessee to deliver gender-responsive, trauma-informed group sessions. You will guide participants through curricula, conduct orientations, and assist with community reintegration planning, while maintaining records and coordinating schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in social sciences or CPRS designation plus 3+ years of related experience, with a flexible schedule including evenings. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree or CPRS designation with 3+ years of qualifying experience.
• Experience as a facilitator in a criminal justice setting.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable discussing difficult topics and handling conflict.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings.

Responsibilities

• Delivers gender-responsive, trauma-informed curricula in group sessions.

Responsibilities

Summary

The Program Facilitator helps program participants develop pro-social thinking and behaviors through the delivery of cognitive behavioral and evidence-based curricula. Facilitates group programming sessions in areas such as anger management, preventing violence, and critical thinking.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• The Program Facilitator delivers gender-responsive and trauma-informed programming using curriculum-based group sessions.
• Utilizes evidence-based practices to enhance participant engagement and motivation.
• The Program Facilitator conducts participant program orientations and intakes.
• Maintains group rosters, attendance records, and documentation of progress.
• As appropriate, assists participants in planning for release to the community.
• Assists in the coordination of participant program schedules to ensure that all programming needs are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field; or possess a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) designation or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of qualifying experience.
• Previous experience as a facilitator / educator / group moderator with the criminal justice population.
• Valid driver's license and access to an operable vehicle.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal skills.
• Knowledgeable and comfortable when discussing difficult topics.
• Comfortable and effective in dealing with conflict.
• Extensive organizational skills and pay attention to detail.
• Flexible schedule as hours may vary each week, to include evening sessions.
