Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years in a manufacturing environment with personnel management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in multiple departments preferred.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods and cost-reduction initiatives with tangible results.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, procedures and production/quality standards.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment, facilities and team to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost requirements.
• Analyze potential production problems and minimize lost time.
• Review schedules and manage team assignments across shifts.
• Monitor costs, production methods and tooling applications for efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve machines and processes for safety and quality.
• Use data to estimate work-hour requirements and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Manage budgets and provide corrective actions for budget control.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality compliance.
• Lead hiring, coaching and performance management within the department.
