Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks a Production Hangar APG, F-16 Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify aircraft systems and powerplants per procedures and standards. Responsibilities include landing gear, powerplants, flight controls and rigging tasks on aircraft.

Candidate should have extensive experience, be able to read engineering drawings, operate GSE, and train less experienced mechanics. Government clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related aircraft production, overhaul or modification experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manuals.
• Ability to install/remove and rig flight control surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants.
• Work on landing gear, powerplants, flight controls and rigging.
• Ensure safe operation and clean, FOD-free work area.
