Job summary

Hampel Corporation, a growing thermoforming manufacturer serving agriculture, industrial, sanitation, and other markets, seeks an Extrusion Team Lead to guide our extrusion operations across all shifts.

You will drive Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) performance while coaching staff, coordinating with Planning, and promoting continuous improvement. This role requires hands-on leadership, a strong manufacturing background, and a commitment to process excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some advanced education preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in a plastic sheet extrusion environment.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of extrusion processes and sheet production.
• Experience with IQMS, DPS, and Excel reporting.
• Leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing safety and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead extrusion employees across all shifts.
• Coordinate staffing and shift coverage.
• Train, coach, and develop employees using the Skills Matrix.
• Support accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement culture.
• Review staffing and production schedules; monitor performance and quality.
• Coordinate resin deliveries and silo management; ensure on-time production.
• Maintain production reporting in IQMS and DPS systems; report issues.
