Job summary

M&J Engineering P.C. is looking for a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI) to conduct condition inspections for buildings in NYC under the Façade Inspection & Safety Program (FISP). This role requires managing survey teams, performing inspections using scaffolding, and preparing detailed reports for compliance.

The ideal candidate must be a licensed P.E. or RA in NY State with at least 7 years of experience in façade inspections and knowledge of NYC construction codes. A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan, is offered.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of relevant experience with façade inspections and specialized probes.
• Extensive knowledge of FISP / Local Law 11 requirements.
• Experience in preparing TR6 reports and filing with DOB.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of field survey crew.
• Conduct visual and close-up inspections using scaffolding.
• Prepare reports in compliance with NYCDOB and clients' guidelines.
