Job summary

Mesquite Entertainment is seeking a skilled lead production technician to manage live sound and lighting for events across Mesquite properties. You will set up and mix audio, install and maintain equipment, supervise a crew, and ensure safety and quality in fast‑paced environments.

The role requires experience with mixing consoles, lighting systems, rigging, and AV setups for conventions and performances, plus a strong customer‑facing presence and English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation required.
• Must know mixing consoles/outboard gear.
• Ability to lead production crew.
• Knowledge of lighting, power hookups, and rigging.
• Experience with AV equipment for conventions.
• Ability to operate lifts and movers.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interaction with talent and guests.
• English reading/writing required.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace microphone, a/c or data link cable.
• Perform routine maintenance on sound and lighting.
• Design sound systems, operate mixing board and monitor equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on all equipment.
• Understand and comply with all department policies and OSHA regulations.
• Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management
