Job summary

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology in New York is hiring an Exec Ops Lead Executive Operations Analyst to drive strategic growth, improve efficiency, and oversee complex budgeting and forecasting across the segment. You will partner with engineering, program, product, and finance leaders to enable seamless project execution and data-driven decision making.

The Product Engineering team is responsible for end to end development for Disney’s world-class consumer-facing products, including streaming platforms Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+, and digital products & experiences across ESPN, Marvel, Disney Studios, NatGeo, and ABC News. The team leads AI adoption and drives innovation at scale for millions of consumers around the world across Apple, Android, Smart TVs, game consoles, and the web, with our platforms powering core experiences like personalization, search, messaging and data.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Product Engineering, Exec Ops, Lead Executive Operations Analyst will drive initiatives that support the strategic growth and improve the efficiency and effectiveness for DE&E Technology globally. To be successful in this role this person should have advanced analytical, communication, and project management skills. They also must be resourceful, have a strong customer-service orientation, prioritize effectively in demanding environments, initiate solutions, and have advanced interpersonal skills. Additionally, this person will partner with key engineering, program, product, and financial leaders within our segment to enable seamless deployment of projects and execution of strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Establish clear internal communication hierarchies, systems/templates for inter-departmental procedural clarity.
  • Work with stakeholders to collect, build, and validate Long Range Plan, Annual Budget, and Quarterly Forecast information.
  • Perform evaluations and analysis of the active portfolio to ensure consistent alignment with business goals and budgets. Proactively identify financial trends, recommend adjustments, and signal potential issues as necessary to stay on budget.
  • Provide data-driven, procedural solutions to drive intelligence on the health of our budgets and resourcing needs.
  • Communicate regularly with Portfolio and Finance departments in the tracking, reporting and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and contracts.
  • Generate detailed contract reports for stakeholders as needed, and ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of contract processing.
  • Liaison between senior leaders within Product Engineering for ongoing strategic team operations, standardize workflows and onboarding practices, and ensure leadership deliverables meet strategic objectives.
  • Develop internal training sessions, manage, and maintain onboarding practices to enrich the skill sets of all new hires and ensure release and deployment seamlessness across all technology studios and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7+ years of related experience
  • Thorough understanding and experience with Portfolio Management and Project Accounting concepts and practices.
  • Superb organization, detail-orientation, and project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and balance short and long-term work streams
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills, ability to develop beneficial relationships and networks in order to achieve results
  • Strong presentation and design skills; experience with Keynote, PowerPoint and internal collaboration sites (e.g. Confluence, Wordpress, Box, Office365, etc)
  • Ability to flex and pivot quickly based on priority shifts and/or changes in workstreams
  • Proven experience in influencing business and technology leadership to drive positive lasting outcomes
  • Solid understanding of program and project management principles
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to think creatively and to drive innovation
  • Proficiency leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini) to accelerate analysis, drafting, and reporting workflows; skilled in prompt engineering, summarization of long‑form content, and using AI to synthesize data across budgets, forecasts, and contracts. Familiarity with applying AI responsibly — understanding data privacy, source verification, and the limits of generative outputs in an enterprise environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Management. Marketing or IT)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with corporate accounting software such as SAP, and presentation software such as Keynote is a plus.
  • F&A experience for capital planning and project planning
  • Experience with Airtable.
  • Understanding of Disney existing procedures and corporate culture, a plus

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $135,400 - $181,600 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
