An Excavator Operator role is available at Garney. The incumbent will operate machinery to perform excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, final grading and cleanup as part of a crew. Laborer duties may be required from time to time.

Qualified candidates have five years of construction experience, strong knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance, and must be able to work overtime and travel as needed.

• Firm knowledge of equipment operations and maintenance.

• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate an excavator safely as part of a crew.
• Perform operator level maintenance on the machine.
• Understand safe working loads and signals.
• Handle trench boxes of all sizes and shapes.
