Job summary

Kiowa Casino is seeking a Lead EVS Attendant to oversee EVS staff in the supervisor's absence and uphold exceptional cleanliness across public and back-of-house areas. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, furnishings, windows, and restrooms, while enforcing safety and policy guidelines.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and ideally 2 years in EVS or custodial work at a large facility, with prior concern for gaming compliance preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2 years' experience in an EVS or custodial position at large facility or multi-property locations is preferred.
• Applicants may be required to obtain/maintain Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise EVS attendants in the absence of the EVS Supervisor.
• Clean lobbies, casino, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and stairways; sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility.
• Report defects in equipment, furniture, and fixtures to EVS Supervisor or Manager.
• Ensure safety rules and proper procedures are followed and assist other teams as needed.

SUMMARYThe Lead EVS Attendant will supervise EVS Attendants in the absence of the supervisor. Responsible for cleaning floors, furniture, windows, walls, following established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility. Must provide an exceptional experience for internal and external Guests and in both public and back-of-house areas. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the organization's policies and procedures, tribal regulations, and all federal/state laws, as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAll Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa's Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, SOP's, and any other related training.Ensure an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the properties, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner.Maintain appropriate paperwork, in accordance with department policies and procedures.Ensure Team Members follow safety rules and regulations.Conduct random inspections of public areas and office spaces and monitor Team Member performance.Clean lobbies, casino, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and stairways.Sweep, scrub, wax, and polishes floors.Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.Dust furniture, artwork, and picture frames.Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork.Wash windows, door panels, and sills.Empty and clean wastebaskets and ashtrays.Transport trash and waste to disposal area.Replenish bathroom supplies when needed.Reposition chairs, tables, etc. to their original positions.Keep all public areas in the casino clean of any unused glasses, bottles, debris.Report all defects in equipment, furniture, and fixtures to the EVS Supervisor or EVS Manager.Clean and dispose of biohazard waste in proper equipment when required, which may include feces, vomit, and blood.Offer support and assistance to other Team Members and departments.Maintain knowledge of special events, hours of operation, and other pertinent information.Must adhere to safety rules and regulations and applicable processes for safe operations.Perform additional duties or projects, as assigned.The list of essential job functions is illustrative of the minimums ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class.
