Qualifications

• Five (5) years of increasingly responsible evidence collection experience with at least three (3) years of Experience performing duties similar to an Evidence Technician II with Placer County.
• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, assign, and review the work of staff in the Evidence Unit.
• Maintain compliance with chain-of-custody procedures and laws.
• Oversee storage and disposition of evidence and property.
• Coordinate staff training and budget considerations.
• Prepare reports and provide testimony in court as needed.
