Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• Strong experience leading AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Proven experience with responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling, resilience and security expectations.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting across complex problems.
• Drives team adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices for code quality and delivery speed.
• Architects and delivers large-scale data pipelines (ETL/ELT) across ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing.
• Designs data lake patterns with quality controls, lineage, governance, and reusable datasets.
• Builds and optimizes distributed processing workloads using Apache Spark and modern file formats.
• Tunes performance across compute and storage (Spark, joins, cache, skew, warehouse).
• Implements engineering best practices: CI/CD, testing, observability, security-by-design.
• Builds Java services and data access layers; develops REST APIs and integration components.
• Applies modern application engineering practices (clean architecture, SOLID, test automation, secure coding).
