Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Lead ETL Developer to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse team. You will lead design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue, Snowflake, Python-based frameworks, and IBM DataStage.

You will mentor engineers, enforce SDLC standards, and drive modernization efforts across the data ecosystem while collaborating with product owners and architects. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 5+ years ETL/Data Engineering in EDW environments.
• 5+ years SQL and database development experience.
• 5+ years Python/PySpark and ETL tools experience.
• 3+ years of cloud-based data platforms experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines in the EDW ecosystem.
• Ensure alignment to enterprise data architecture, standards, and best practices.
• Drive solution design from requirements to scalable implementations.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using AWS Glue, Snowflake, Python/PySpark, and IBM DataStage.
• Define unit testing, regression testing, and data validation strategies; support QA.
• Mentor team members and lead technical initiatives; drive CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, and upstream/downstream teams.
