Job summary

Cedar & Oak is seeking an Estimator to lead budgeting, bidding, and purchasing for luxury residential projects from early design through construction. The Estimator will collaborate with leadership, architects, interior designers, PMs, subcontractors and vendors to ensure accurate budgets and competitive pricing.

The role requires strong estimating, pre-construction, and project-management skills, with the ability to read complex drawings and identify scope gaps.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in estimating, purchasing, pre-construction, or project management within custom residential construction.
• High-end or luxury residential construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, interior design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead preliminary estimating and design phase budgeting.
• Manage final bidding and fixed-price construction pricing.
• Support purchasing, procurement, and project execution.
• Coordinate with leadership, architects, designers, PMs, and vendors.
• Maintain project budgets and document bid comparisons.
