Skyward Construction LLC seeks a Construction Estimator who owns end-to-end estimating for commercial, public, and federal projects, with 2+ years GC estimating and a willingness to travel for bid walks and site visits.

From bid to award, you will prepare detailed estimates for $500K–$15M, develop scope narratives, pricing assumptions, and exclusion logs, and lead preconstruction with GCs and government reps. This SDVOSB company values clear communication and buildable numbers.

Qualifications

• GC estimating experience in commercial, public, or federal work.
• Authored technical proposals for public or federal projects.
• Willing to travel occasionally and work remotely
• Strong communication and accuracy under tight deadlines
• Team player who coordinates with subs and project staff

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end estimating from project hit desk to award.
• Prepare detailed estimates for $500K–$15M projects (commercial/public/federal).
• Develop scope narratives, pricing assumptions, and exclusion logs.
• Author technical proposals and supporting documentation for federal procurements.
• Lead bid day: vetting and compiling subcontractor proposals with discipline.
• Serve as primary preconstruction contact with GCs, owners, and government reps.
