Ideal candidates have 10 years of estimating experience in commercial construction, including at least 5 years in a lead role, and proficiency with ComputerEase, FieldEase, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a lead estimator.
• 10 years of estimating experience in commercial new construction (restaurants favored).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of cost control and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for restaurant construction projects.
• Perform material and quantity takeoffs from drawings.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and proposals to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details.
• Review vendor/subcontractor quotes for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain cost databases and historical pricing information.
• Support preconstruction efforts, bid submissions, and value engineering exercises.
• Ensure estimates align with schedules, budgets, and company standards.
