Job summary

CLA, a top 10 national professional services firm, seeks a Lead ERP Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Illinois. You will lead Workday configuration, integrations, and release activities to optimize ERP operations.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal clients, manage integration requests, and mentor teammates while delivering reliable, scalable Workday solutions. A strong track record in ERP and Workday is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years overall IT experience designing, implementing, or leading ERP.
• Experience with Workday Studio (including Studio Starter Kit) preferred
• Experience with Integration Development preferred
• 4+ years of experience with Workday Integrations - Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, O4I - Orchestration for Integration preferred
• Workday Studio Starter Kit and Workday Web Service APIs experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and improve Workday configuration and integrations to other applications using specialized development tools.
• Complete requests from start to finish - gathering requirements, testing, publishing to production, and support.
• Provide technical solutions on configuration and new functionality related to Workday.
• Recommend configuration changes and enhancements to improve the Workday environment.
• Analyze existing and future needs for development and automation opportunities.
• Lead the intake and distribution of integration and specialty application service requests across multiple teams ensuring timely assignment based on expertise and workload.
• Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Serve as escalated application support for CLA’s Workday and lead technical resource for ERP Systems.
• Responsible for leading validation of vendor patches and/or upgrades to the environment.
• Lead evaluation and testing during Release Management, Feature Adoption, and Business Process Management.
• Review application updates and compare business needs for impact on existing configuration and to identify opportunities.
• Provide leadership of training initiatives by analyzing performance and training needs – recommend solutions, instructional strategies, and media.
• Provide implementation support, optimization related to business processes, security, and data integrity for the applications.
• Maintain familiarity with the progress and problems in assigned technical areas.
• Detail oriented team player who is comfortable with managing confidential information in a professional manner.

The Lead ERP Engineer with CLA’s Enterprise Resource Management team improves and supports business ERP use and is responsible for configuration and support of ERP applications that includes developing solutions/enhancements, design, configuration, and maintenance.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Lead Workday Engineer role:

• Participate in project teams that are either directly associated with Workday or that use the information.
• Show technical expertise and assume responsibility for requests.
• Lead the intake and distribution of integration and specialty application service requests across multiple teams ensuring timely assignment based on expertise and workload. Proactively coordinate follow-ups and maintain visibility into progress to ensure resolution with defined SLAs.
• Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Serve as escalated application support for CLA’s Workday and lead technical resource for ERP Systems.

The compensation range for this position in California is: 127,000.00 – $213,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Colorado is: 118,000.00 – $192,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Illinois is: 108,000.00 – $192,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Maryland is: 127,000.00 – $206,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is: 127,000.00 – $206,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: 108,000.00 – $185,000.00

The compensation range for this position in New Jersey is: 137,000.00 – $206,000.00

The compensation range for this position in New York is: 141,000.00 – $213,000.00
