Athens Services is seeking a Lead Equipment Operator for our Transfer Station in Phelan, CA. You will lead heavy equipment operations, manage daily landfill activities, and ensure safety standards are followed while processing green waste and organics into compost and mulch.

The role requires five years in MSW landfills, a high school diploma, reliable communication, and the ability to read safety manuals and site plans. Overtime may be required, and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure tipping table is clean and orderly for daily intake.
• Inspect equipment and perform pre-trip and post-trip checks.
• Keep hazardous and prohibited wastes out of the transfer station and landfills.
• Report unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain tipping table clearance for safe customer unloading.
• Overtime may be required as needed.

## Lead Equipment Operator - Transfer StationApply: Phelan: Full time: Posted Today: JR106239**Summary**The Process Equipment Operator—Lead reports directly to the Operation Supervisor and is responsible for the management and leadership of the Process heavy equipment operations in American Organics. The Lead Process Equipment Operator assists in overseeing the daily operation to ensure the highest standard of safety and operations are followed.
