Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience operating automotive or specialized maintenance equipment.
• Ability to obtain State of Kansas Commercial Pesticide Applicator certification within six months.
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL within six months.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and trucks with attached equipment for street maintenance.
• Lead a small crew during maintenance tasks.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and service on equipment.
• Assist with prescribed burns.
• Direct operations of equipment such as asphalt plant when applicable.
• Locate and uncover buried manholes.
