Qualifications

• Two years of experience at the Equipment Operator, Senior level.
• Training in equipment used at this level of assignment.
• An equivalent combination of training and experience (as approved by the department) may be used to meet the minimum qualifications of the classification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of trucks and heavy equipment as listed in the duties.
• Attend training and development sessions for advancement.
• Provide leadership, training and supervision of crew members.
• Maintain equipment and record repairs; ensure safe operation and storage of equipment.
• Support snow removal operations and essential work during emergencies.
