Job summary

State of Alaska DOT&PF, Juneau region, seeks an Equipment Operator Foreman 1 to lead a maintenance crew in Juneau, AK. You will supervise up to 10 staff, schedule work, monitor safety, and inspect highway assets while coordinating repairs with the State Equipment Fleet.

You will perform hands-on maintenance including snow/ice control and sign/guardrail work. Required Class A CDL and at least two years of highway or airport maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Supervises and coordinates a maintenance team up to 10 people.
• Knowledge of planning and execution of maintenance tasks.
• Strong accountability for quality, safety, and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a maintenance station and schedule work.
• Inspect highway assets and document maintenance in AGILE.
• Act as main contact for the traveling public and review design plans.
• Coordinate equipment repair with State Equipment Fleet staff.
• Perform hands-on highway maintenance including snow, drainage, brushing, signage.
