Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Terre Haute, IN seeks a Mechanic I to perform basic repairs, calibration, and maintenance on equipment. You will lead diagnosis and repairs, guiding Assemblers to improve troubleshooting and equipment upkeep.

You must have knowledge of hydraulics/electrical/gas and diesel systems, basic math, and be able to work overtime; comfort with handheld tools, multi meters, and inputting findings on a laptop or tablet. Safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of basic experience with hydraulics, electrical, gas and diesel systems.
• Strong math skills and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and reliable on-site attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs, calibration, and maintenance on equipment.
• Lead diagnosis and repairs, directing Assemblers to improve troubleshooting.
• Install equipment accessories (decals, mud flaps, cameras, lights).
• Follow verbal and written work instructions with attention to quality.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and wear PPE as required.
• Use tools such as Multimeter, pressure tester, and analyzer.
• Input findings on iPad or laptop and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Able to stand/walk long distances and lift up to 35 pounds.
