Job summary

Hologic is seeking a Group Leader, Equipment Maintenance to lead and optimize the maintenance of manufacturing equipment across facilities. You will implement an engineering change order system, oversee preventative maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in reliability and safety.

The role requires strong leadership, GMP experience, and hands-on expertise with electrical/mechanical systems. Occasional weekend work and travel to multiple facilities are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP environments.
• Proficient with hand tools and electrical schematics.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform heavy-duty tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Recent leadership or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains preventative maintenance schedule for equipment.
• Reviews and approves preventative maintenance records and SOPs.
• Acts as Lead Mechanic for day-to-day maintenance and compliance.
• Generates and maintains department reports and audits.
• Mentor and train junior personnel in troubleshooting and safety.
• Support new equipment installation and vendor coordination.
• Travel between facilities for maintenance tasks.
