Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a policy aimed at environmental protection, requiring manufacturers, producers and distributors to manage their products and packaging after use. This includes setting up systems to collect and recycle post-consumer waste.
This role is responsible for developing strategies and mechanisms to ensure compliance with these regulations.
• Develop comprehensive global EPR strategies
• Guide the implementation of such programs
• Analyze regulations, identify and prioritize regulatory requirements
• Establish and monitor performance metrics
• Collaborate with both internal and external partners, such as government entities, consultants, recycling companies, business leaders and other key stakeholders
• Optimize waste management and compliance costs
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 8+ years relevant experience
• Skills required: program management, data/metrics, regulatory/legal, manage confidential information
• Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD.
• Return To Work Designation: Hybrid, 4 designated days in office (Mon-Thur), the other day of work week remote
• Travel: <10% of the year
• Licenses/Certifications: None required.
$104,538.56 - $143,740.52USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
