Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Architect to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale cloud development and a strong background in the Power and Electrical domain, specializing in Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and microgrids.

This hybrid role will require you to lead architecture decisions across innovation and guide engineering teams on best practices, ensuring the development of scalable energy management platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering / architecture experience, preferably in product development environments.
• 6+ years in EPMS, power monitoring, electrical distribution, microgrids, DER, BESS, SCADA, or related energy management systems.
• Hands-on technical depth in .NET / C#, React JS, microservices, REST APIs, cloud-native architecture, Azure cloud services, DevOps, CI/CD, security, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead Software Architect for EPMS product development, owning end-to-end architecture.
• Define scalable product architecture for EPMS applications.
• Guide engineering teams on secure coding and API standards.
• Collaborate with power systems SMEs and product managers.
