Job summary

UT Health San Antonio seeks a faculty epileptologist to deliver excellent clinical care, engage in collaborative research, and teach medical students, residents, and fellows. Academic rank will reflect experience.

Responsibilities include Epilepsy Monitoring Unit coverage, EEG reading, neuro ICU EEGs, and supporting outpatient clinics; board status in Neurology and Epilepsy is expected or imminent.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification or eligibility in Neurology and Epilepsy.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency.
• Fellowship in epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Attend on the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and read EEG studies.
• Support outpatient clinics and inpatient clinical care for epilepsy.
• Contribute to teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
