Job summary

The role requires MD/DO, board-certification in neurology and epilepsy, and eligibility for associate professor or professor, with licensing in Texas.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Eligible for appointment as an associate professor or professor.
• Board-certification in neurology and in epilepsy.
• Record of leadership and achievement related to epilepsy.
• Experience in medical and surgical management of epilepsy including pre- and post-surgical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planned expansion of epilepsy services at the DSMCUT.
• Develop partnerships with regional referring physicians and hospitals.
• Support epilepsy-related quality improvement.
• Collaborate with the DMS pediatric epilepsy program and other departments.
• Facilitate research and scholarly activities and teach medical students and residents.
